WWII POW shares experiences, ca. 1942-1999.

Three photocopied newspaper articles tell the story of Davis as he was shot down during a bombing raid over Germany and taken as a prisoner of war for a year. He was, after 53 years, given seven medals he earned through his service in the Army Air Corps. Also included is a short note about Davis' surprise meeting with General Dwight D. Eisenhower at Camp Lucky Strike.
